After 3 uses, the Xtend patch on back of the knee has ripped through the spongy neoprene. There is only a thin layer beneath the neoprene holding the suit together. If you buy this, make sure you have plenty of patching material. This was not designed for durability.
By Jumblies from North Carolina on 07/22/2008 Pros: Easy To Put On And Off Describe Yourself: Casual User Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Using for scuba. only one use so far, but it fits well, and is plenty warm for midatlantic use. The ankles have gussets which is nice for big foot people like me. I'll echo what other people have said about sizing. It fits my shoulders well, but I'm broad. I think if your average or thinner, you should size down. I chose 1 size larger based on previous reviewers comments and the fit is about as good as it gets.
By Boy Scout Mom from Sammamish, Washington on 07/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Cons: Hard To Put On Or Off Describe Yourself: Beginner Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this suit for my boy scout who was taking a 1 mile swim challenge in late spring. Because of our cold and wet spring, the lake was especially cold and wet suits became manditory. We searched stores but couldn't find his size. We ordered this one with our fingers crossed, and it was a perfect fit. It kept the water completely on the outside. The elbows were a little roomy, but it was snug at all end points, very comfortable and my son was able to swim the entire mile with no complaints.
Wetsuit cut for Arnold Schwarzenegger By The Gear Destroyer from Central Coast, Ca. on 06/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Put On And Off, Lightweight Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing Describe Yourself: Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend I'm an all around water guy and have owned and used Camaro wet suits a lot in the past and have been delighted with their fit, finish, and overall quality. This is the first one that just didn't fit. I ordered the same size I always order, but the shoulders, arms, and wrists were gigantic! I figure that Camaro, an Austrian company, used Arnold Schwarzenegger, a fellow Austrian, as their model for my size. There is no way this suit is going to work for me. Water will flood into the wrist openings and freeze my narrow butt off. I'm reluctantly sending it back.
Other than an unacceptable fit, I liked the suit, especially the smoothskin upper that should greatly diminish evaporative cooling in this suit. The zipper looked great, it was easy to don and doff, and everything was great except...the fit. A wet suit that doesn't fit is worse than useless, because you think it should keep you warm and it doesn't.
Excellent product at an amazing price By Aero from Metuchen, NJ on 05/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Off Describe Yourself: Casual User Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This wetsuit is an excellent product. Amazingly warm and confortable, there is almost no water infiltration and the little there is, it warms up extremly quickly. The stretch neoprene makes it very easy to put on and off and give you freedom of movements. The smooth skin provide great protection against windchill. Really at this price and for this quality, it is a bargain. Take advantage of it while it last.
By Sewsheila from Queens, NY on 03/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy To Put On And Off Best Uses: Colder Water, Surfing Describe Yourself: Casual User Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It would have been a perfect fit except that from the shoulders to the elbows there was about 5 inches of baggy material in the under arm. It just flapped around, need big upper arms to fill it out.

By Windsurfing guy from Hudson Valley, NY on 12/15/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Off, Stretchy Best Uses: Colder Water, Windsurfing Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the best wetsuit I have ever owned. It is 100% smooth-skin (no outer lining) so wind chill is minimized. That's important to me, as I use it for windsurfing. This 5mm suit is stretchier, more comfortable, and easier to put on and take off, than my 3mm suit by another top maker of windsurfing wetsuits. This suit also seems more durable and resistant to rips and tears than other smooth-skin wetsuits. In the future when I need a new wetsuit, I will look for Camaro first.
