Not as durable as advertised. By Ramblin' Gal from Denver, CO on 12/20/2007 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Packable Cons: Poor Material or Construction Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am actually going to return these pants because I took them on a trip and wore them 4 times and they "pilled up" in the crotch area. Very dissatified with them. They were not my first choice on my purchase, but you were out of my size of the first choice I made and the sizes fit differently with different manufactures.
By doitall from hudson valley, ny on 12/19/2007 Cons: Front pockets too small, Rides too low on hips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i use convertable pants for in general traveling, hiking, and backpacking. the short front pockets make them useless. nor can i fit a map or anything in the back pockets. riding so low on the hips are bothersome with any pack (day or overnight), and plain uncomfortable for general wear. Too bad as they are a great light material & beautiful color

Nice pants but they run a bit big By Kristin from Durham, NC on 09/11/2007 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The first pair I ordered was too big and too long, even though I measured myself and used the sizing chart. I like the pants, though - the zip-off feature is great. As a young person still concerned with not looking too dorky while hiking, I also like that the waist sits a little lower (more like my low rise jeans) than any other pair of zip-off pants I could find.
By Suzy the traveler from Chino Hills, Ca on 09/11/2007 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Cons: Could use more pockets, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, We use while traveling Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these pants. We travel to the Carribean several times a year and these pants are perfect for wearing on the airplane where it can get chilly. Once we arrive, we simply zip off lower 1/2, to convert to shorts and now we blend in perfectly with the tropical weather!
