The hipster style is cut small
By RphNick from Illinois on 4/10/2008
Length:
Feels true to length
Cons:
Not for an athletic build
Best Uses:
Inspiring weight lose
Describe Yourself:
Casual
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: Normally the medium size Frankie and Johnny pajamas are more than generous, but the hipster style does run small. I have an athletic build, so it is tight through the hips, buttocks, and shoulders. I love the pattern, so I'm hoping I can shed a few pounds not only for the summer, but so I can wear my new pjs.
They were definitely not sized right!

Cons:
I was unable to wear them
Best Uses:
for dusting rags
Describe Yourself:
tight budget rarely shop
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: These pajamas were way too small - especially the top - it wasn't a true medium - the top looked like it could fit a large child...I was disappointed because I washed them and was unable to wear them or return them since I washed them.I have been wearing the same t-shirt and pajama bottoms for 3 years [...] - I was so looking forward to new pj's since i am on a very tight budget - two kids in college and we barely make enough money to ever shop on ourselves. Needless to say, i donated the pj's to the humane society thrift store - maybe someone else can wear them....[...]

Runs true to size, I'm 5'5" and 150 lbs, the medium fit fine. A denser fabric than you normally see, and the drawstring is elastic in the back, so you can cinch up your waist and leave it tied ever after, pulling it up and down like a regular elastic waistband. I was impressed.
Give it a few washings in hot water for it to start fluffing.

I ordered Frankie & Johnny LOUNGER pajamas in size medium and love them; they're cut huge, but that allows for shrinkage. Not so these HIPSTER pjs - I am a size 6 and in this style I can barely button the size medium top.
I love the patterns and the fabric, but have to return them...flannel pjs should never, ever be skin-tight!
