By Dino the Biker from Central Ohio on 11/07/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Durable, Soft, Warm and comfortable, Wicks moisture Best Uses: Athletics, Cycling, Formal Wear, Layering Describe Yourself: Athletic, Bicycle Commuter, Winter Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are excellent wool socks. This fall was my first time upgrading to higher-end socks, and the difference is well worth the cost! These socks hold no moisture and are as soft as cotton. When I bike in 40 degree (F) and below weather, I wear these as a base layer and put a cheaper pair of thick wool blend socks over them. Smartwool is so far my favorite brand of socks; I purchased two other pairs of Smartwool snowboarding socks (light and medium padding), and altogether I much prefer Smartwool over some of the other lycra and spandex variety of athletic "wicking" socks, which make my toes feel palmy.
These socks also look nice and professional, which is an added bonus. The orange is my favorite.
I would purchase these again By Greg from Fridley, MN on 07/20/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great socks that I can wear all day at work. They make me feel cooler.
