stretch fit me well. (I wear a 7 1/2 shoe.) These fit a little more snugly than the other Acorn socks, and the mid-calf tops would not extend full length. To wear these, I would have to scrunch the tops down. For a person with slender or really slender calves, they would probably be perfect. Because of the tightness at the tops, I plan to gift them to my young nephew, who is in the size range and whose calves are surely much smaller than mine. I believe he will love them.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear the fleece socks around the house to keep my feet and lower legs warm. I've never found a robe long enough to keep my lower legs warm on cold days. I haven't had them long enough to comment on some of the above issues but am very happy with them so far.
