[$] for a pair of socks!? By Catlover from Clifton Forge, VA on 01/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The comfort of the soft cashmere was negated by the thinness of the fabric. I got to know the seams inside my shoes very well - a pair of fully lined Clarks. I'll take three pairs of grey tightly woven wool socks for the same price instead, please.
By secondadonna from New York, NY on 12/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, High End Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love these socks...very thin, lightweight cashmere. Very high-end and amazing. Hold up well, despite the thinness. I order them for myelf and just convert my women's shoe size to a men's size using a standard chart found online.

Nice socks. too expensive. By Fell off the Orient Express from Apache Junction, AZ. on 08/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Soft, Very well made Cons: Too expensive, Too much wool in blend Best Uses: Daily Use, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love cashmere socks. The ideal blend is 90-97%
cashmere with the rest being an expandible yarn.
Cashmere socks treat your feet to warmth in the winter, cool in the summer and, as long as they're hand washed, last as long as any other sock material. These Falke socks are well made, but only 70% cashmere, and 30% expandible yarn. Your feet can feel the difference. They should also
be a bit less money because of the use of less cashmere.
Sizing is SHOE size, not SOCK size By Shopper from Wisconsin on 08/05/2008 Best Uses: Daily Use, Office Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a large woman's foot (size 9) so women's socks are often too small. However, the sizing on these socks is large, even for men's sizing. Size 8-9 was large even for my husband who wears size 8.5 US men's shoes. The socks are a little thicker than I expected, too, but they are very soft. Cuff elastic is broad and not too tight, so should hold socks up nicely.
