I normally don't machine dry my socks anyway but that might be a drawback for some users. Natural fibers are a plus. On sizing, I am at the large end of size small (7 shoe). Very tiny feet might find these a little big.

The seams are uncomfortable, both along the toenail line on the front/top of the sock, and on the sides where the big toe and the small toe touch the sock. I switch socks from left to right in order to find a comfort zone...but that's a hassle. I need a sock I can count on...no bulky seams to irritate my feet.

They seem to be doing what they're meant to do, as far as I can tell, but I don't like them in my waterproof shearling boots. They feel wet after a while. They're not attractive socks, so I wouldn't wear them with anything but a boot or high shoe that covers the two-tone. I'd prefer a solid color construction.

Great quality and I fell in love with the feel of alpaca! I purchased my first two pairs two years ago and they have not worn out yet. I love the way they feel in my casual shoes and they are perfect wash after wash. My favorite choice in socks!
