Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he really likes them. I would suggest you wash before wearing though as they were a bit itchy. After washing, they were better.

I've already been snowshoeing, skiing and shoveling snow in these long underwear. The merino wool really is soft, comfortable and non-itchy. I sweat heavily so I appreciate the wicking and the fact that it continues to keep me warm when it's wet. They fit great too.

wore them for 3 days running in inclement weather in So. Oregon. temp. in the 20-30 degree. comfortable, light weight, warm. didn't have to take them off once i was inside because of the comfort factor. don't know if they would work in the midwest but for moderate cold well worth the price!

Very nice fabric and fit. I probably should have ordered a size smaller (M) because it's a little baggy. But that's my fault not the item or STP's.It is comfortable and I like.
