My first Garmont but not my last. By Flingbottom from West Fargo, ND on 12/22/2008 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Harsh Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have owned these for about three weeks and wear them for work and everyday. My shifts are long and the hound needs her exercise. I really hate to take them off. They took about eight hours before I knew I could wear them for extended periods. Now anything goes.
By Calman from Warsaw, NY on 12/19/2008 Pros: Ankle Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Day Hiking, Everyday, Heavy Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for my next pair of favorite boots, these boots are the ticket. They seems very sturdy and the rubber cap will extend the life of the boot. Snow use was not an issue, they kept my feet dry even in deep snow. I also feel that the boot is quite stylish.
Great boot at a great price By Spanish Traveler from Rota, Spain on 11/29/2008 Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this boot after a size 12 asolo was too small. I wear a Nike size 12 running shoe, and with my two layers of socks on these boots at 12.5 are perfect! It only took one 12 mile trek to get them broken in. I like the rubberized toe because I have a tendency to kick stuff when I'm hiking. The soles are very strong with great traction. Wouldn't think twice about getting another pair.
