I like that it fastens down the back so that there are no straps dragging the ground or coming undone due normal running or activity. The neck is higher than on most coats so your dog will be warmer. If you walk your dog on a harness, you will have to leave a gap in the velco on the back to accomodate for the leash.

Snow is still a new thing to her, and she isn't so sure about that cold wet stuff, but this coat is a snap to put on and take off and makes potty time in the snow a less miserable experience.
The only way to improve upon it, for this particular dog, would be if the body of the jacket was longer. I will add a piece of fleece to the back to keep her covered and a little warmer. Otherwise, no complaints. This is a great product.
