As good as can be all around By Interested in fitness from Arkansas on 03/10/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Fits perfectly, Flexible, Good Traction, Holds body well in walk, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Gym, Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I go on an exercise walk mornings and travel up and down over smooth/rough pavements. Afternoons I do strength training at the gym. This shoe is remarkable, which is why I'm writing this. I find it supportive, comfortable (no hurt toes or arches, no weight to one side), and giving in every moment and situation without exception. I've used other good-quality shoes and this is, because it's excellent in every way, the standout to date. Totally recommended. Size: I usually wear a 6 1/2 to 7; ordered 7 and it's perfect.

By BTDT from Gainesville, FL on 03/04/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wearing New Balance walking shoes for several years and have gone through 2 pairs. So I was pretty sure that these would be good. I like the light brown color - it probably won't show dirt the way the white ones do. So, the fit and appearance are perfect for me.

Perfect for rough, wet terrain By I Love Winter from New Bedford, MA on 02/12/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Breathable, Comfortable, Flexible, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Track, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Professional Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been looking for these shoes for years. I run year-round on and off trails, and these shoes are light & flexible, with leather uppers that I can waterproof. They also have a non-aggressive tread that doesn't trip me on rough terrain, and the brown color isn't ruined by rough use like white is. Regular trail-running shoes are too stiff and heavy, especially waterproof ones. Running shoes are not waterproof-able, so I've been looking for a pair of walking shoes that are not white. These brown walkers are perfect.

By vbcoach from Espanola, NM on 02/09/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these shoes for walking everyday for about 4 miles. I bought the shoes 1/2 size bigger as was suggested and they fit well. They have taken a few days to break in, but I really like them. They are light weight. I wanted shoes that were all leather since the mesh shoes are a bit cold in this weather, and my hiking boots were too much. These are just what I wanted.
