Light and comfortable but fall apart By Adventure rider from Idaho on 09/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Pleasant to wear as a base layer under motorcycle pants, but they began falling apart right away.
By AT Hiker from Maryland on 08/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were far looser than I expected. Perhaps the sizing is a little big. These remind you of pantyhose instead of long underwear. Was it Jim Palmer who wore pantyhose? Anyway, function over form except mine were kinda big.

By Cowboy Dan from Virginia on 08/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these and the matching top as lightweight pajamas. They're better than a silk sleeping bag liner and perfect for preventing that sticky skin on skin or skin on nylon feeling.I didn't realize they'd be practically see-through, but that's not really a big deal. If you take a sponge bath or wipe yourself down with a camp towel just before going to bed, they're just great for a pair of ultra-light pajamas that feel clean and help you sleep comfortably.
By hiker babu from Austin Tx on 08/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Snug Fit, Warm Cons: Would have like v-neck Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Can't stand heavy thermals for sleeping or hiking but these silks worked great on a hike up Kilimanjaro and 3 freezing nights below the summit.
By Black Douglas from Marrowstone Island, Washington on 07/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports, Under rain gear Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for mild weather, or an extra layer under heavier underwear in severe cold.
By it's nature, thin silk is delicate, and they only last one season, but the price is good for what you get.
