By JAMMA from New Hampshire on 02/28/2010 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these to replace fiances worn glomitts. Casual wear in cold weather. Very nice material. I fish alot and believe these would do the trick in foul weather. I'm not a glomitt wearer, but if I was I would be right on these. Great price, material and workmanship. If Auclair has these in regular gloves, I want a pair!
By Lenny from Bloomfield, NJ on 02/22/2010 Pros: Good Protection from Rain, Good protection from wind, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like glomitts because of their versatility. You can fish your keys out of your pocket or text away on your phone without the rest of your hand getting frostbite. Then just flip the top and cover your digits for those long walks in cold weather or a snowball fight. The only disadvantage of these particular glomitts is that the thumb isn't covered, if you can live with cold thumbs, then these are great! If you can't, just make a fist with your thumb inside it if it really bothers you that much. :P
By kmesaaz from Mesa, AZ on 02/20/2010 Cons: Inadequate Protection from the Elements, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used these yet, but already I see a problem, besides no protection for the thumbs. They run small! I thought I would just wear my glove liners under them to protect my thumbs, but they are short and tight.I am female with large hands, ordered XL, but they run small[...]
By Beep-Beep... from Los Angeles, CA on 02/11/2010 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I gave the gloves to a friend as a birthday gift...she's a court reporter. Her hands get cold on some jobs (cold offices, etc.), and she has told me that even though she hasn't used them yet...she thinks they'll be great.

When he has to process a scene that is outside they give him the dexterity and they keep his hands warm in order to do his job
Don't fish, just want warm hands By musiclove from Delaware on 01/20/2010 Pros: Adaptable fit, Free fingers for MP3 play, Stylish Best Uses: Bad Weather, General Use Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves have a bit of stretch so that even if they are a size bigger or smaller, they are workable.
My husband and I use them for several purposes, none of them fishing, but they looked as though they had warmth without bulk and of course the free fingers.
Great for messing with little things with the car or just being able to be outdoors and work your MP3 player, untangle the dog's leash and many other uses.

By theoflow from NY, NY on 01/12/2010 Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't buy these for fishing, more along the lines of for smoking in the cold weather and the first 5 minutes in the car on the morning commute. In this regard they aren't very noticeable, which is a good thing because they don't make me feel like I'm fumbling with mittens. One thing I somewhat dislike is that my palms get a little balmy. It is probably just me getting used to the glove and is better that I'm warm than freezing.
By cp from cny from central new york on 01/04/2010 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for temps around freezing. No cover for thumb so thumb gets numb pretty quick. Material is pretty thin, not a lot of insulation.
