I am a size 7-71/2 shoe, and order a size S instead of a M in this brand, because I like the fit better. I couldn't even tell that these are seconds.

Comments:
Biking, casual hiking, everyday use. These particular Smartwool socks did shrink a bit in washing, but passed them from husband to myself and I love them. Have not had trouble with other Smartwool socks shrinking. We rarely wear any other brands of socks now. Smartwool are so comfortable.

great socks for intended use. these seem to have a bit more cushion than the ultralights I got a yr or so ago. Perfect lightweight cycling socks, no stink like my defeet's & don't get tight in the ankle after many washes.

Nice for a colder day...
By Some guy who rides a bike all the time..Verified Purchaser from ca on 06/14/2008

Cons:
A little hot...

colder weather

Avid Adventurer
Fit:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I'm used to my pearl Izumi attack socks but have heard good things about smart wool. I'm not displeased, but when riding in hot weather they get pretty hot. Excelent on cooler days when its still too warm to bundle up in all the micro fleece you own, but cold enough for arm warmers...
