Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I buy socks for the padding to the foot. These definitely have that quality. They wear well in lace-up hiking boots, but I think if I wore low top shoes they would bunch up at the top. The elastic isn't real tight. This can be a positive or negative depending on how you wear your socks.
