If you're down for wool, you don't need to read this review: you already know what you're in for. If you are considering a pair of wool socks, then this is for you: buy these.
They are soft, don't pill easily, and are as comfortable as a darn good pair of socks can be. I wear these, or a pair like them, 9 out of 10 days a year and I love them. They don't require a dryer, you can rinse them out and let them hang out to dry, so if you're camping, they are easy to re-use. Especially since wool has strong anti-bacterial qualities. You'll love them, regardless of use, however. They're just that good!
Also, you may want to look into getting some detergent with lanolin (wool oil) in it, especially if you have a lot of wool clothes. Washing wool in a lanolin-full detergent keeps the fibers soft!
