The fabric is soft fits well inside my Solamon hiking boots.
There are no seams to cause problems while on a long hike.

Comments: Mainly use for off-trail hiking. Great socks! Comfortable, soft, wear well, don't bunch. They could make the uppers out of the same material as the bottoms, they do that with their "summit" sock.
