By Emile from Champaign, IL on 12/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great fit from day one. I'm using them for winter walking shoes instead of bulky boots and they have been great. The lacing system looks goofy and will probably be hard to fix, but for a serial non-shoelace tier like myself - I love it.
By nick the knife from OHIO on 12/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Easy onoff, Shock-Absorbent Cons: Not very rigid or sturdy Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After 2 weeks I feel the shoes were a good buy. I wear as my everyday kicks. Comfy, easy on & off with the lace system. I do not feel they are supportive or stable enough for too much rough terrain. A casual walk in the woods or down a gentle trail would be their forte. Yet to test their water resistance.

Waterproof lightweight, but lack support By E.Lau from Boston, MA on 08/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cushioning, Non-slip sole, Water Resistant Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are fairly lightweight, has lots of cushioning and their material is waterproof (I splashed water on them and they beaded off without soaking the shell). But they lack support for the ankles, and much of the foot, so I won't wear them for hiking. I'll wear them for waling around town and jogging probably on rainy days. Soles are OK (good impact absorption), although they have holes (to save weight) that go to the midsole.
