By none from Pittsburgh, PA on 08/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Closeouts? Why? I owned another pair of similar Salomon trail shoes (with a quick-lace system), and with laces I can tie, these are even better. They're a more bulky than a regular running shoe (toe-box is more symmetrical, and in general, the shoe is heavier and more supportive), but if you're on rough trails, this is welcomed. Basically, they're great for anything but road running or backcountry trekking with a seriously heavy sack.
