By Buttercup the Thinker from Salt Lake City, UT on 12/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are really great for a walk in the snow. The sizing is a little generous and wide, which is good with a heavy sock and you can really control the fit with the lacing. Not a bad shoe for the low cost. Could be a little better looking, but so what. Get some!
Sturdy shoe for sturdy folks By Kerry from Portland, OR on 12/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these shoes all day long. They are very durable thus far. I feel I have made a great choice. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that the inside foot bed could be a bit more soft and padded. I will probably buy inserts.
By Catherine from North Idaho on 11/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for wet weather. Very comfortable. Feels a little wide around the toes, but if you tie them tight they feel fine. I just wore them in the snow and they performed better than I imagined.
By Angie from Mich on 11/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable, but they feel about 1/2 size too large even with a wool hiking sock.

They actually look like hiking boots. But I will keep them for occasional use.

They are perfect for my need as a light work shoe around my country place. The sizing seems a bit big, but not by a 1/2 size.
