I'm better off wearing the box that the shoes come in because of my wi-i-i-de feet. I like their styles and wear-ability and will continue to buy them. They are about as good as it gets for me.

The pair I purchased and kept fit great and I have no problem with them. I did try to purchase a second pair, but the second pair felt big in the heel and I returned it.
Just a note: Allen Edmonds recommeds the use of their Leather Lotion for shoes like these with contrast stitching. This is what I use and have no problem with staining or keeping the shoes looking nice (new).

I have always been impressed by their traditional, refined style and the very high quality of their workmanship and materials. These shoes are a good investment for men who want the best for their feet, because with proper care, they will probably last a lifetime. And they're made in the U.S.A.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are excellent but my two concerns are that the leather stretches easily and so after a while, the shoe is a little loose on the foot. Also the sole is made of soft rubber and it wore out easily. After three years of semi-continuous wear (wear them every other day for about two years and once in a while for a year), I had to send them back to get recrafted because the heels were unbalanced due to my walking style. But they are really nice looking and comfortable. I find that they're easy to maintain using clear shoe cream. Don't use shoe paste because the leather is not as suitable for an extra glossy wax finish.

Comments: Quality comfortable shoe. Light colored stitching can make it difficult to polish without staining the stitching. I stand all day for work, and this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn day in and day out. Well worth the price.
