Comments: Just picked this jacket up on a killer sale here and I am totally stoked been out in the harshest conditions over the last 2 weeks up here in Tahoe and the only thing I dont like about it is the hood is permanently attatched.I wear a helmet and have no use for a hood. Its just a big pow holder. But No worries It's very easy to remove with a little sewing knowledge;)
Duh! It's Gore-Tex...buy it if you ride.

Comments: Best to use it as a tech shell in windy, wet cold weather. Don't forget to layer it. Keeps you dry. Get the matching pants if you can. Great set up.

I wear this jacket in cold and/or wet weather during my bike commute. It's as waterproof and windproof as advertised. It breathes wonderfully, and the pit zips are well designed and effective. It's got pockets for days.
The only downside is it's a bit heavy and doesn't pack very compactly.
