I already owned one pair of these pants and have almost worn them out. When I saw the price (and small sizes available) on this pair I had to buy them! I love the fact you can make them capris as well as shorts, and they are so lightweight and comfortable! You can't go wrong with these!!

Love these - nice looking and trim fit!
By JMThikerVerified Reviewer from Tahoe area on 06/04/2008
Pros:
Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Slimming, Stylish
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Changeable Weather, Hiking
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I like the trim look of these pants - the pockets are placed so they don't bulge out and make your thighs look huge, and they are loose enough to be comfortable but are not baggy. Because these pants are more fitted, you can feel the zipper on your legs as you walk, which might bug some people, but I do love that you can convert from long to capri to shorts, which is perfect for hiking/backpacking at altitude when the temperature can change from freezing to 80 and back in a day. The waist is at a comfy height - just below the natural waist. There are no zippers or velcro at the bottom leg opening but I can get them over my shoes without having to remove them. Nice enough looking to wear "out" too, such as to a sporting event where you don't know if your seats are in the shade or the broiling sun, or both. Love 'em!

Cons:
Not very breathable

Comments:
I have been wanting a pair for over a year but didn't want to spend [$]. Great price on STP and I love them! They aren't incredibly breathable but are well made and so convenient. Since they dry fast it's not that big of a deal if I get all sweaty.

These are the greatest pants I own. For once I did not have to hem. The short length was perfect for me. The waist fits like a dream no gap when bending down to tie my shoe. The drawstring on the inside of the waist band is so great I want one in every pair of pants I own. I would love to buy more of these, but they are out of my size. sigh!
