like wearing nothing
By ScratchVerified Reviewer from Centralia, WA on 11/21/2008
Pros:
Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish
Describe Yourself:
Casual Adventurer
Length:
Feels true to length
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These pants fit just fine, no gaping, good length, looked nice but they are waaaaaaay to lightweight. It's like wearing a silk scarf. They are well made and probably very sturdy but I can't imagine wearing them on a hike. They don't look or feel like something I'd hike in or wear at home. They just don't feel substantial. They look like you're wearing something just to see how lightweight it can be without wearing nothing. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone unless you had to severely restrict the weight you could carry.

These pants run small, are rather lowcut and are more of a boy-cut than a feminine cut.

Nice pants but a bit too long
By Casual WomanVerified Reviewer from Asheville, North Carolina on 08/20/2008
Pros:
Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Hiking
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Length:
Feels too long
Waist:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I bought the brown pants. They are a rich color, are attractive and comfortable. They are appropriate for the trail or when going out to dinner. Only problems are that the regular length is too long for my 5'5" height and the pockets sit open a bit too much.

These are really stylish hiking pants. I think I could take them from the mountains to the dance floor. I have muscular thighs and they fit me very well (form fitting, but not too tight).

Comments:
I was looking for light weight pants I could wear in kayak where insects could be a problem. They are very comfortable and stretchy so that they move with you when getting in and out of kayak or with knees bent in kayak. The only negative is the side pocket design looks a little like it is gaping open though it is designed to be cut in.

They look like cute pants I'd wear around town, but they are breathable and move with me without binding. The waist is a bit big, but then I always have that problem. I love these pants!

Beautifully designed pant for a flattering fit. Multiple function since they are so attractive. I wear them as a pant at work instead of the scrub pant. I'm between 6-8 size right now so had to send back the 8 I ordered. The 6 is also a bit loose but I'm wearing them anyway.

Comments:
I'm 5'3" and I got these in short and they are just the right length to wear with either athletic shoes or a slight platform like Dansko. The are well made with no silly extra pockets to detract from the svelte fit. And comfy too.
