You won't find a better sock! If you have aching feet, these will feel awesome. We live in the Baja and have no furnace so our house gets pretty cold when it's in the 30's at night but my feet are almost too hot in these socks.

The hunting socks are awesome, thick and cushy, I love them. I wear them alone. I still haven't found a Smart Wool sock, or any other for that matter, that really makes a difference in keeping my feet from freezing quickly in the snow.

I would definitelly recommend them to anyone who has to spend a lot of time outdoors in cold weather.

These socks give lots of cushion as well as warmth. Plus you can always just wear one or the other. They are very thick so make sure your boots/shoes can accomodate them.

With temps in the 20's and sitting still, my feet stayed warm. I have tryed many other hunting socks and I will be staying with the Smartwool socks. I am a professional firefighter and will be adding these to my must have uniform list for those cold winter days to keep my feet warm.
