sets the standard for ski socks By skibob from So Cal on 08/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Soft Describe Yourself: Athletic, Bargain Shopper, High End Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Probably the best ski socks on the market - certainly the standard by which others should be measured. I've skied extensively for 35 years and these socks are my standards, thin warm dry durable machine washable. Buy several.
By KandT from Renton, WA on 06/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Soft Best Uses: Athletics, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, High End Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband and I are both in health care and spend 8-12 hours on our feet a day. SmartWool socks are the only way to go. We've worn the crew versions exclusively for a few years now--for travel, hiking, running, etc. We recently switched to over-the-calf styles to help our vascular circulation in our lower exremities during the long days at work. These socks really make a difference and keep us comfortable all day. Although they're ski socks, they work great during the summer while inside the hospital.
