I own a different pair and wear them all the time. They make a superior product. However, I would say that the Britany shoe runs narrow. I have a medium width foot and can only wear them in short increments. I'm hoping that they will stretch.

I wear 7 1/2 and 39 was too long. Good fit across top of foot. However, the heel sticks out past the shoe in the back and just looks odd, like when you buy a sandal that is too big and your foot sits too far forward. (Heel look is unrelated to being a size too large.) I read a review saying as much but tho't it wouldn't bother me, but it did. I sent them back. It's a shame since it felt like it'd be a great everywhere shoe.

They work great with a lot of different outfits: casual and dressy. Very comfortable from the beginning. One thing worth noticing, the heel is wider than the shoe and there is no side view picture on the website.

These shoes meet both standards. They are dressy enough to wear with pants to work, but look great with jeans too.
When I first got them, I was afraid they were too small--they felt tight and stiff. But after wearing them around the house for a day, I ventured outside with them and was totally comfortable (even though I walked a mile to my city's early voting station and waited in line three hours before my walk back home!)

Since these only came in whole sizes, the shoe is a bit loose, so I put insoles in. I love these with jeans, but not with dresses.

I was very excited to find the Britany shoe on-line. When they arrived, I wore the brown shoe for a day and was quite disappointed in how my forefront foot pad ached the entire day. The footbed was far too squishy and not supportive. I can typically where just about any shoe because I have never had any foot problems. So, if this shoe was uncomfortable for standing and walking, it really was not for me.
