I have a narrow foot, with a low arch, so these shoes are perfect for me. I usually wear a 7 1/2 in Avia,and that's the size I ordered in the NB 644. I walk 2 miles a day and they have not given me a problem.

I always walk in New Balance 3+ miles a day. I loved the 643 and decided to give these a try, I do sometime get the wide width in New Balane (7 wide) and since it was not availabe in my size I risked ordering a 1/2 size larger in Med width (7 1/2 B)...It worked! right foot felt a little tight at first but quickly loosened up after a few days....You can't beat New Balance for a good walking shoe...and I have very picky feet.
