Waist:

Comments:
In the picture, the design looks unusual, but once out of the box, they're awesome. Ultra-durable, yet, also quite comfortable. In terms of the former, I can rest my knees on chunks of rock and they're thick enough to cushion the impact. The nylon on the bottom part also resists absorbing water. In terms of the latter, they fit snug, but not tight, and they look attractive enough to wear to my son's P/T conference without looking like a bumpkin'.

My favorite work jeans of all time
By Trailblazer TadVerified Reviewer from Crestline CA, Big Harn Mountains, WY on 09/21/2008
Pros:
Durable, Excellent Design, Good Value, High Quality
Best Uses:
Brush clearing, Chainsawing, Construction, Trail cutting, Tree Felling, Tree trimming, Yard Work
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These pants have served me long and well. I love them. While cutting and maintaining trail through thick-timbered forest, they have taken serious abuse: from countless stobs, sticks, branches, snags, and other abrasion, to continual chocolate-coating of chainsaw bar lubricant flying off the chain, these pants have done a GREAT job of protecting my legs and show virtually NO SIGNS OF WEAR! These pants bow to nothing and no one! (Well, okay, to Jesus, i would make them bow.) A normal pair of all-cotton jeans would have been shredded and rotted away long ago, and my shins along with them. With these on, i don't hesitate to kneel down in the dirt or in whatever, as the tough nylon "chaps" wear well and clean up well. As the uppers are cotton only, they are surprisingly comfortable, and i usually end up wearing them the whole rest of the day...or week. I am buying a second pair because i am finding i always need these pants, and miss them, precisely when they are in the wash. I need a spare pair, men.

Comments:
I have never been a fan of Dickies, but this product was great. I was out in the rain for hours and was in the mud and thick brush that likes to stick to everything, I was the only one that came out of the field fairly clean.
