No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the styling and quality of this shirt, but it didn't fit me well. The sleeves are too long, as other reviewers have noted. I'm a size 12, and I ordered both a 12 and a 14 since shirt styles are quite fitted these days. Even the size 12 was too loose and just hung kind of funny. Too bad!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love SPF/UPF shirts. We have long summers in the Central Valley, so sun protection is important. Sleeves are long. But as a tall woman, I bought this shirt for just this reason.
Not fancy, but useful and clean looking.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt for a month long trip to China to wear as a shirt jacket when the weather gets cool at night in Beijing. I like the wash & wear and UV protected fabric, but it does not fit my body right. I knew about the too long sleeves by the reviews. The under arms are too big also, so I can't raise my arms comfortably.
I am returning this shirt.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very practical shirt, except for the exceptionally long sleeves. However, they can be folded back, or unbuttoned and rolled up to elbow length. Love the raglan sleeve/shoulder design - great for those with broad shoulders. Also like the tapered waist. Not too tapered, just right. Very attractive. I bought the size 14, after trying the 12 (my usual size), and finding it a bit too tight across the chest. But this happens to me a lot, and I have noticed that tight is in style these days; I just happen to personally prefer a looser fit. I think the shirt is sized correctly. The only difference between this one and the Transit shirt is that this model adds a 3X dry finish, which makes the fabric slightly stiffer. Prefer the softer Transit shirt, but it didn't come in white, and who doesn't need a crisp white shirt? All in all, great for work, travel in all climes, and every day. I won't wear for backpacking, because it would get terribly dirty, and I want to save it for "good" use. However, I'm sure it would excel for that use as well, if you didn't care about keeping it clean. All in all, very pleased with the purchase.
