nice logo, poor quality wool By Dan-o from San Fran, CA on 03/01/2010 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: well, it's not at all like the newer Merino wool jeseys. I was sadly taken back to the days long ago when wool jerseys were itchy and uncomfortable. After having bought the newer ,lighter, and somewhat stretchier Merino wool ones, this is just plain uncomfortable. I need to wear a synthetic jersey under it so it won't be so uncomfortable.
By Tappa Zukie from Los Angeles, CA on 01/21/2010 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jersey is good for casual riding around town, definitely not a performance top. The sizing is on the small side. I ordered two sizes up for a good fit.

By Campyophile from Sunnyvale, CA on 01/12/2010 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Retro, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Mountain Biking, Road Biking, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great quality, the blue version has the authentic logo stitching from jerseys long ago (so I am told!). These jerseys are sized in the spirit of a traditional Italian racing jersey (more narrow than US sizes); even one size larger will provide a "racing cut" for those accustomed to US sizing.
By Rocky from Mountain View, CA on 01/11/2010 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good fit Best Uses: Everyday, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a wool jersey and they seem to be hard to find these days. The jerseys are well made and wool keeps me warm even when wet. Good jersey if you like wool.

Everyone likes it. Beautifully designed. Slightly fussy styling on the rear... but i'm splitting hairs now.
By Clem Bob from Perth, Australia on 08/01/2009 Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jersey is light enough to wear on a warm spring day but still warm enough for a cold morning. Needs coupling with a wind proof undershirt for a really cold morning. It's the coolest thing in the pack though and will actually make a good shirt to wear to cycling events.

By jitaylor from florida on 04/02/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday, Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Chest Size: Feels too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well I was 1978 Iowa State TT champ so I am an oldtimer. I love the groove of this wool jersey, and it is so much more comfortable than the trash we wear now. I have two. I wish there were wool shorts too. It is overpriced, but it is the only one available in the world. I am a Campy nut too. No Japanese junk on my bikes.
Campagnolo Retro Wool Cycling Jersey By Rigo in SC from Santa Cruz, CA on 01/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Describe Yourself: Collegiate/Pro Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have four of these jerseys now and absolutely love them. I find these to be wonderful training jerseys in any weather under about 80 degrees. They have great big pockets - wonderful for centuries when you want to carry extra food, and great for days when the temperature will vary a lot on your ride. I ride up into the Santa Cruz mountains and on any given day the temperature can vary throughout the ride a good 40 degrees - this jersey is perfect for these conditions. Also, though you can't dry these in a dryer (wool can shrink dramatically), if I just put them on hangers overnight, they're usually dry by morning. Another thing I love about these is that they don't retain body odor like polyester does. Lastly - I found these jerseys a tad itchy on the first ride - but only on the first ride. After that inaugural wearing, itching has not been an issue.
