[...] I like these shoes; I'm no longer stuck with just one pair.Like most Birks there is a break-in period which was short for me. I wore these with tangerine jeans and they bled on them but, it didn't ruin my pants.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Being a long time Birkenstock fan with many styles, I find this style to be different in its look from most others. I like different,at the same time it also has the classic loafer styling. Over all size is normal fit, but the width of the upper shoe (not the foodbed)is wide and might feel loose to some. There is a strap that can be adjusted. Great Price Great styling how can you not buy them?!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Altho the ad said to order a size smaller, this was not true. I ordered a size lower and had to return it for my usual birkenstock sizing. I was lucky and they still had my size/width available. I like the shoes alot and find them very comfortable as with all birkis.
