By PixPWD from Arlington MA on 11/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I really wanted to like these. I wore them around the house for awhile, but they just didn't flex with my foot. It was like wearing clogs.
By liz the dog walker from hingham, ma on 10/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: this had to have beeen the heaviest shoe I have ever worn. I am an avid wlker/light hiker and there is no way I could wear these shoes longer than an hour. My feet got tired carrying them.
By CWL from Minneapolis on 10/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wearing these shoes steadily for one week which includes walking a mile or more each day over streets, gravel, wood paths and sand. The shoes are very supportive to my feet - both of which have had surgeries. I have decided to take these shoes on a walking vacation overseas. I will know then if they are as good as I think based on one week's use.
nice, firm walking shoe / great foot sup By Jack's walking partner from DeKalb, IL on 09/14/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the heavy duty tread on the bottom of these shoes. I think they will last longer than most of my shoes. I walk the dog 2 to 5 miles per day and seem to wear out soles quickly.
By Denver Mom from Denver, Co on 08/08/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes take some adjusting to wear for longer periods. I think they do make me stand taller, as my upper back was sore after a while. There seems to be some additional pressure on my knees, we'll see if that works its way out.

Different style = sixing nightmare! By Kathryn the mail order shopper from Gardiner, NY on 03/31/2009 Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This style of the Boost ran an entire size smaller than the regular Boost walking shoe (non-nordic)[...] Why such a size difference between 2 styles of the same brand??
By Mary in AZ from Southern AZ on 01/21/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Durable, Sturdy Best Uses: Endurance Training, Nordic walking with poles, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes hoping to add to my nordic walking poles daily use. I wear out the pole tips every 3-4 months on pavement so I thought having a sturdy shoe made for this type of walking/training would be great and improve my level of walk fitness. Unfortunately I wore them only once (great anticipation too) and got 2 very large blisters in only 3 miles. When I broke in my new NB country walkers (also from STP) I had no problems. I would be interested in trying another pair/style or newer model again.
