Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have only had the pack a short time. Great support, feel good with a heavy load (full climbing rack, rope, 3 liters of water). Great value. Wish it had a removable bivy pad.

The smaller case is more convenient when hiking.
Easy access.
A longer shoulder strap would be nice -- or if clips were added, shoulder straps could be interchanged.
