Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't consider convertible pants to be anything but functional - they are not a fashion statement for me. These pants do everything they are supposed to do. The fabric is sturdy, the zip off/on works easily, they have plenty of pockets for casual recreational and travel wear. I would buy them again.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a woman who needed shorts to my knees and lots of pockets as we backpacked and canoed in the Canadian wilderness...I wore the shorts all week! washed well, protected my upper legs from sun, and didn't lose a thing in my pockets.
