Asian Brick Red is not brick red at all By Kika from Chicago, IL on 08/15/2008 Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I realize this is a really low price for a rug, but I didn't think it would look as cheap as it looks in person. But that's not the reason I returned the Asian Floral Brick Red rug I bought. I returned it because it wasn't brick red at all. The main color of the rug is a pinkish mauve color created by pink and khaki speckles. The darker border color is more red, and it is created by speckling black and red. The speckling of colors makes the rug look like it's a cousin of Astro Turf. I hated it so much that even though it was a pain in the butt to return and cost a lot to return it, I returned it anyway.
But it is a really good value and it looked like it would be really durable. It has no plushness to it whatsoever, but it still feels soft to the touch - not plastic-y like most cheap rugs feel.

It's a nice looking rug though in the colors I wanted and at a great price.
By buster from san diego on 07/27/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is a great runner for the price. it slips around, but that's only because I haven't gone out yet to purchase a non-slip gripper that is required under all rugs for hard-wood floors. It matches very closely with a large pottery barn rug we have, which of course we paid a lot more money for!
