Keen's in the Australian Bush By Kokoda Ray from Melbourne Australia on 11/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Giving the Shellrock Keens a workout in the Australian mountains - early days yet but they copped a pounding on 20K of jagged rocky mountain climbs with temperatures in the plus 30 celcius first day out. Felt slightly tight initially, but were spot on for day two. First time trying the Shellrock, we will se if they match the usual high performance of the previous Keen's - I expect they will!Yet to test out the waterproof performance (we are in drought!)

I used them for sledding! They kept my feet dry and warm! I had a compliment on them already and the lady said she loved Keens and never seen those. I can't wait to try them out snowshoeing soon!
