| J. G. Glover began as a family run, hand-frame knitting business in the late 18th century. For seven generations the company was based in Wigston, Leicestershire, knitting and trading in hosiery and textiles. J. G. Glover now produces five and seven gauge knitwear that’s finished to the highest standards and crafted of natural fibers and blends that bespeak the company’s roots. Made for both men and women in classic and contemporary styles, J. G. Glover draws from centuries of artistic experience while keeping an eye toward future innovations. |

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great merino wool sweater for warmth, comfort & good looks, plus durability. The only thing wrong with it is that I am allergic to wool, but I thought since I had another merino wool crew neck sweater from Italy that didn't bother me, I could wear this one also, but no such luck! I thought because the collar laid down it wouldn't bother me, but it does, but because it is such a good looking, classical, warm sweater I am keeping it & wearing turtlenecks with it. My Mother always told me "Buy quality, not quantity" & this is true. It falls about three inches below your jeans or waistline.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a perfectly tailored sweater of very good quality wool. I have been
buying and sending back wool sweaters from several catalogs and
this one has all the qualities I had been looking for. Good fit (not baggy)
and the wool is not all pilled after two weeks of wear. Also not a paper thin one!
The kind of sweater they sold twenty or so years ago.
One slight problem. I ordered a Navy and received a Charcoal in its
packaging which stated the sweater was navy.
I was a disappointed, but its good quality prevailed over the expense of
returning mail!!!
