It looks great, and appears to be very waterproof. The outside feels a bit like a soft breathable rubber, and the inside feels like fleece. I am 5'10", at 165 lbs, and the Medium fit me perfectly, both in the chest and arms.
By the way, I looked it up and Sastrugis is a Russian word that refers to snow mounds hardened by the wind.

I like it for all these things and yes, the zipper is difficult and it does leak down. Good looking enough to wear as a casual jacket.
