Earth |
| Earth shoes were inspired by Yoga devotee Anne Kalso, who believed most modern footwear to be incompatible with the natural alignment of our bodies. Anne knew that the foot was designed to tread soft surfaces like sand or dirt, but perhaps not the concrete walkways of today. With the help of a Portuguese shoe maker, Kalso designed a shoe that mimicked the contours of a sandy footprint. By positioning the heel below the toe, a technology now referred to as Negative Heel®, Earth shoes promote better posture by aligning the body naturally - as it was meant to be. This, combined with contoured and cushioned footbeds, shock absorbing gel midsoles, and comfort-engineered soles, make Earth shoes the natural choice. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not quite as comfortable as Earth Explorer boots! Counter to the Earth Shoe trend, feel longer & narrower than true size. I couldn't get comfortable in them until I loosened up the straps enough to let them flop around a bit. 2nd best sandal I've ever owned.
