Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered this for my 14-year-old grandson who, with his mom and sister, lives in the Middle East in Muscat, Oman during the school year and in the U.S. during summers. It's great for school, rock climbing excursions, school trips, camping on the beach and in the mountains of Oman & Washington State. Perfect for his long-haul flights and shorter ones in the ME, Europe, and within the U.S. He is a skateboarder but does not need or use the pack for that purpose. He loves all the pockets for stowing. It was definitely a good choice for him as he tells me so constantly.
