By Mountain Hound from Portland, OR on 09/28/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Athletics, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Outdoor enthusiast, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the price these shades are a fair deal. The wood grain finish is painted onto the plastic frame, not ingrained into the frame, which in my opinion, gave them a cheaper look. Solid polarization and coverage, and the fit was appropriate. The screw holes where the frame attaches to the earpieces is not covered/hidden. The cheaper finish of these shades does not compare to my old smiths or costa del mars. Again, fair for the price.
Too much whiz and not enough bang By Pete from Braintreee, MA on 09/10/2008 Cons: Glass keeps falling out, Heavy, Uncomfortable Best Uses: At The Beach, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Glasses are very heavy, and the lens keeps popping out of the frame, and I am constantly tightening the screw to keep it in without success.
